Our Stories Feel Like Home
Hello! I'm Xolile Sepuru
Founder of Peloo Creations and Creator of Lokshin Dogs
Lokshin Dogs is a proudly South African story that brings township culture to life through adventurous stories, activity books, and audio-visual experiences for children. The idea for Lokshin Dogs grew from a simple observation. As a parent, I noticed how rarely South African children encounter stories that reflect their own neighbourhoods, cultures, and everyday experiences. I wanted my children, and children like them, to grow up with stories that feel familiar and meaningful, while still encouraging imagination, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Lokshin Dogs is created by Peloo Creations, the creative storytelling studio behind South African stories across books, audio, and learning tools.
We bring South African culture to life for children through authentic stories, vibrant characters, and educational content that reflects our unique heritage.

Our Philosphy: Learning Through Play
Our stories do more than entertain, they build skills, confidence, and a love of learning that carries into every Lokshin Dogs story.
Stories Kids Can See Themselves In
The Lokshin Dogs podcasts bring stories to life through familiar voices, humour, and everyday township moments. Listening helps children build language, imagination, and comprehension, while hearing stories that sound like home. For many South African kids, it’s powerful to hear characters who live, speak, and experience the world the way they do.
Hands-On Learning Through Storytelling
The Lokshin Dogs activity and colouring books turn learning into play. Through colouring, tracing, puzzles, and mazes, children develop fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, focus, and creativity. These activities encourage kids to learn at their own pace, building confidence while having fun alongside characters they relate to.
